The Georeferenced Information Base Program joined with the Brazil Data Cube organizes a Workshop for SISAM project team
Between November 25th and 29th, the Georeferenced Information Base Program (BIG) of INPE/MCTI held a workshop for the SISAM – Integrated Environmental Information System for Health project team. This project is the result of a partnership between INPE’s Fire Monitoring Program and the Ministry of Health, with the involvement of the technical team from the Fire Monitoring component of the BiomasBR MCTI – Cerrado Project.
This training covered fundamental topics in geoinformatics, geographic databases, as well as the use of service infrastructures and technologies to access data from the INPE’s Brazil Data Cube (BDC) platform and the use of its data science and cloud computing environment.
The event underscores INPE’s commitment to training professionals and developing innovative solutions in the use of geospatial data, contributing to integrated actions in environmental monitoring and public health.
